Water management is embedded in national policies and regional plans. Claire responds directly to the requirement to uphold and implement the best measures that support optimal outcomes for aquatic resource management.
With a technical grounding in ecotoxicology and biochemistry, Claire is comfortable diving into the finer details of any effort. To identify solutions that achieve the optimal outcomes for water quality management, she likes to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. She enjoys collaborating with other specialists on complex projects where there’s no one-size-fits-all solution.
Claire’s breadth of experience spans from the upper North Island to the South Island and across the Tasman to Australia. In Wellington, where she’s based, she’s been heavily involved in various global stormwater consents, from impact assessments to the implementation of monitoring plans.
Living close to the Tararua Ranges and enjoying the open spaces of the Wairarapa, Claire loves spending time with her family out in nature.
