Comoros Islands Global Gateway Support
The Global Gateway is the European Union¡¯s flagship strategy to strengthen their international relations and address complex challenges linked to development in partner countries. These include scaling up trade, improving infrastructure and adapting to climate change. The European Commission selected us to lead communication efforts in the Comoros Islands, an archipelago located in the Indian Ocean.
We created a strategic communication plan to inform and enhance understanding among residents about the EU and the Global Gateway. The plan included the organization of public diplomacy events and engagement with local media and influencers to get the message out. Hosting cultural events and celebrations of international days with important parties, such as the French Embassy in the Comoros Islands and the European Investment Bank, we enhanced the program reach within the global community as well.
These communication efforts help convey EU priorities so they resonate directly with local communities, highlighting the value of collaboration under the EU Global Gateway for future prosperity.
