Tallawarra Lands Master Planned Development
Tallawarra Lands is a 320-hectare (791-acre) master planned development located between the Princes Highway and Lake Illawarra, south of Wollongong. Bridgehill selected us to lead the urban planning and civil design for this transformative project, which aims to unlock the potential of the Lake Illawarra waterfront as a catalyst for investment, employment, and lifestyle in the Illawarra Region.
Our team has developed a comprehensive masterplan that addresses historical land underutilization and fragmented planning. The plan integrates residential land, area for local centers, employment lands, space for tourism, and public open space including 2.6 kilometres (1.6 miles) of activated foreshore.
We have provided a suite of services that include strategic and statutory planning, master planning, civil design, landscape design, infrastructure coordination, and engagement. We¡¯ve also applied best practice urban design principles to keep the development sustainable, resilient, and community focused. Our plan supports diverse housing, local business growth, job creation and tourism, while enhancing environmental and recreational assets.
Tallawarra Lands is more than just a development project¡ªit¡¯s about creating a highly livable, connected and future-ready community that celebrates its natural setting and delivers long-term social and economic value.
