Highlights of Mark¡¯s career include the rising main duplication project in Petone¡ªthe first time a tunnel boring machine was utilized in the region to install a one metre-diameter pipe¡ªand the Porirua wastewater treatment plant hydraulic upgrade project, meeting tight resource consent deadlines to mitigate prolonged unscreened wastewater discharges to the sea. However, the Kaitoke Flume Bridge is Mark¡¯s standout. This key project strengthens water supply resilience in an earthquake-prone location, making it a career milestone with immense community benefits.
