As our architectural team lead for Northern Canada, Melissa is committed to delivering design that transforms communities and cultivates enduring connections. With a foundation in interior design, a passion for continual learning, and meticulous attention to detail, she embraces new challenges and delivers innovative solutions across diverse project environments.
Melissa has been involved with institutional, educational, retail, corporate, health, and residential projects. She’s led several impactful infrastructure initiatives designed to strengthen local communities. Notably, she oversaw the development of a pioneering recovery center in Iqaluit—the first of its kind in the region—and managed the design and construction of the first mass timber housing project north of 60.
Having lived in both Iqaluit and Yellowknife, Melissa and her family have embraced the unique culture and landscape of Canada’s North. When she isn’t working on community-building projects, she enjoys getting outside with her family to enjoy the vast landscape. They also like traveling the world to experience different cultures and art.?
