Jim has more than thirty years of experience in pipeline engineering and project leadership. He¡¯s managed large oil and gas pipeline projects across Canada and the US that include steam-assisted gravity drainage, hot bitumen, carbon capture, hydrogen, water and distribution utility pipelines. Deeply involved in development of pipeline codes, he¡¯s also helped shape industry standards and regulations for hydrogen and carbon dioxide.?
Maintaining a strong technical focus throughout his storied career, Jim enjoys supporting conventional energy and finding new opportunities for pipeline projects around the world. A memorable accomplishment for Jim involved leading a carbon capture network project in northern Alberta¡ªone of the largest projects of its kind in the world.
When he isn¡¯t leading pipeline projects, Jim enjoys playing field hockey and spending time outdoors. He¡¯s an avid photographer and bears are his favorite subjects.
