Debby has a passion for solving environmental contamination challenges. Applying science, creativity, and regulatory guidance, she works as an environmental risk consultant. She has experience in human health and ecological risk assessments under provincial and federal regulatory frameworks in both Canada and the US.
Working with risk assessments, risk-based sampling programs, data analysis, food-chain modeling, and human health modeling, Debby helps clients reach their risk management goals. Her experience includes conducting environmental risk assessments at former mine sites, industrial and commercial properties, service stations, and on Indigenous lands. Committed to continuous professional growth and development, she holds a master’s degree in biology, with a focus on environmental toxicology and meets the requirements to register as an articling professional agrologist.
When she’s not assessing environmental impacts, Debby enjoys working out with CrossFit, walking her Rhodesian Ridgeback, and watching her daughter play fastpitch.?
