Richard is focused on providing planning advice¡ªfeasibility reports, planning applications, and input into planning regulations. He¡¯s done work in commercial and residential development, but at ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ he¡¯s spent most of his time working on infrastructure consenting, especially for wastewater projects.
Richard's involvement in a consenting project trials a much more collaborative process with the client, regulator, local iwi, and community representatives in relation to the Porirua wastewater network and treatment plant. As it¡¯s a local project¡ªin Richard¡¯s own community and relevant to the quality of the local beach¡ªhe¡¯s also a stakeholder, and he¡¯s looking forward to a more robust and effective project process.
On the weekends, you¡¯ll probably find Richard playing football or mastering his latest hobby: surfing.
