With more than 30 years of experience in engineering and project management, Joe leads regional efforts to develop brownfield programs. He collaborates with local governments to identify potential project sites and build community support. Additionally, he helps identify, obtain, and leverage multiple sources of funding, including authoring successful grant applications and developing work plans. Once funding is awarded, he actively manages projects to meet the goals of the client and the community.
Joe specializes in identifying and prioritizing potential sites, completing environmental site assessments, and conducting community outreach and public involvement activities. He’s also involved with developing clean-up and remediation designs, overseeing clean-up and remediation activities, and facilitating redevelopment planning. For each project, he partners with the client to develop a tailored solution to support a project’s short- and long-term needs.
When he isn’t working on brownfields sites, Joe enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and three dogs.
