Dave is a structural engineer with more than 30 years of experience in engineering management and construction. He’s involved with the development and implementation of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) policy with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
As a project manager, Dave works closely with PennDot on research, development, and maintenance of their policies and standards regarding pedestrian facility design and construction. He believes accessibility is a vital part of pedestrian facilities and transportation networks. Dave also regularly works with the U.S. Access Board, ADA advocacy groups, and PennDOT’s District ADA coordinators.?
When he isn’t helping make public transportation more accessible, Dave enjoys going to the gym, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
