Josiah is responsible for a variety of structural design work from new builds to renovations. He focuses on heritage projects including the restoration, preservation, and rehabilitation of stone masonry, timber, and steel buildings.
Being able to see a project all the way from conception to completion brings Josiah a sense of accomplishment. He enjoys learning about the communities he works in and the stories that heritage buildings tell of the people who used to live there and how they impact people who use the space now. Josiah wants our clients to walk away from projects feeling happy that they had the right team and person for their job. He loves being able to take difficult problems and provide solutions that make all parties excited to be a part of a project.
When he isn’t working, Josiah and his family go camping in the backcountry and around Ontario’s Provincial Park system. They also like to explore local small towns, getting to know the character of a town and its people.
