As an intern architect and project manager in our Yellowknife office, Maggie is passionate about the challenges and opportunities that come with working in Canada¡¯s North. She works with a diverse team of professionals on a wide range of projects, from a single-family home to air terminal buildings and everything in between.
For Maggie, it¡¯s about the project¡¯s impact on the local community and how to provide responsibly designed facilities for all people in Canada. Some of her favorite projects have included Nunavut¡¯s Recovery Centre¡ªthe first addiction treatment facility in Nunavut¡ªand a concept design for Indigenous tiny homes in Pond Inlet, Nunavut. With skills ranging from architectural design, project coordination and management, and presentation material production, she¡¯s recently begun pursuing certification in different green building sustainability systems.
In her spare time, you can find Maggie out camping with family, crocheting, gardening, or pursuing another new hobby.
