For Ana, clean water is a human right and the most essential resource we have. As a research associate, she focuses on advancing water and wastewater treatment through innovation, modeling, digital tools, and pilot testing.
Ana supports the development of tools that enhance water project delivery, aiming to improve planning, design reliability, and client differentiation. Currently, she’s leading efforts on a PFAS pilot project, addressing surface water contamination by testing different treatment media to optimize operational performance and cost-effectiveness for PFAS removal in surface waters.
When she isn’t helping advance the treatment of water and wastewater, Ana enjoys surfing, yoga, coffee shops, hikes, running, and outside activities.
