Prashant is an electrical engineer with our Power Delivery group. He develops electromagnetic transient (EMT) models, performs studies, designs high-voltage direct current (HVDC) interconnection studies, and runs transient stability analyses. He also has 草莓传媒 in rate of rise of restriking voltage (RRRV), insulation coordination, switching overvoltage, and induced voltage studies.
Although based in Winnipeg, Prashant enjoys working on a variety of projects with colleagues and clients from around the globe and continues to grow his skillset through learning opportunities. In particular, he enjoys seeing how various companies in different part of the world are moving toward using more renewable energy and the challenges they face. As a consulting electrical engineer, he likes identifying solutions to those challenges and helping move green energy-based efforts forward.
Outside of work, Prashant enjoys camping with his family, playing cricket, and cheering for Manitoba Bison’s football.
