Donation enhances LeFleur¡¯s Bluff, creating a welcoming and vibrant entry point with native Mississippi plantings
Stantec recently joined the Mississippi Children¡¯s Museum (MCM) and community partners to celebrate the transformation of LeFleur¡¯s Bluff¡ªa vibrant urban oasis in Jackson, Mississippi. As part of this effort, ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ made a donation to landscape the central island at the newly paved joint entrance, creating a welcoming gateway with native Mississippi plantings.
The LeFleur¡¯s Bluff project connects the MCM with the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science. It features an award-winning playground, outdoor pavilion, literacy and conservation-themed connector trail, and a 1.2-mile biking and walking path.
The contribution helped complete the final landscaping, complementing recent paving work and enhancing the site as a premier destination for families, students, and visitors.
Stantec has deepened its presence across the city in recent years, including the firm¡¯s work on?restoring the water system for Jackson.
